1. Installation and Analysis Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installation analysis activities associated with subsea engineering including but will not be limited to transportation and installation of PLET’s, PLEM’s, ILT’s and Manifolds and the analysis of installation of Flexibles flow-lines, Umbilicals, risers and Rigid Spools (SURF). 
  • Perform hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis for the different offshore installation activities.
  • Perform hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis for subsea structure installation,
  • Develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP).
  • Prepare naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports).
  • High accuracy level in delivered analysis results required in order to develop safe and robust installation methodologies.
  • The engineer will be exposed to practical offshore experiences and best practices for offshore installation of SURF and structures, this knowledge should then be used for subsequent projects. This provides a constant loop of improvement to obtain more accurate results. 
  • Interface with other disciplines, giving feedback on install-ability and design.
  • Offshore support and real time analysis for the on-going installation activities.
  • Write technical project documents (installation engineering memo and installation analysis reports).
  • Liaise with Project Teams for project data, installation feasibility, reporting to client.
  • Liaise with Project Team to clarify aspects of the work and complete tasks within the agreed timeframe.
  • Liaise with Project Team and client to clarify installation analysis concerns.
  • Complete all tasks set by the Supervisor and assisting wherever possible.
  • Observe existing engineering methodologies and techniques and offering suggestions for improvement.
  • Conduct research and collect data.
  • Observe health and safety guidelines at all times.

  • Work closely with Engineering Team to foster professional values and build good relationships.
  • Work with multiple discipline projects and monitor fieldwork activities;
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications;

Qualifications

  • Education & Professional Qualification:
  • Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology degree in Naval/civil/ mechanical or any other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in Installation Analysis (Preferably using Orcaflex)
  • Geographic Experience:
  • GCC / Qatar preferred
  • Computer and Language Skills:
  • Experience using installation analysis software (Orcaflex©, MOSES, Flexcom©, Deeplines©, Offpipe, etc.)
  • Market / Industry /Functional Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of related health, safety, security and environmental regulations
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001
  • Related Professional Training, Certification or Membership:
  • Preferred: 
  • Engineering Registration UPDA or at least qualified for registration

2. Trainee (Qatari)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Learning Activities:
  • Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
  • Gaining knowledge of company policies and processes.
  • Completing successfully all necessary assessments, as guided and required. 
  • Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the training.
  • Maintaining communication with supervisors and attending periodic evaluations. 
  • Team Support Activities:
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
  • Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other Senior staff.
  • Researching and assisting in identifying areas for service or process improvements.

  • Preparing all requested documents, materials and updating records.

3. ROV Technician

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Testing, maintenance and repair of ROV systems and ancillary equipment
  • ROV system fault finding and repair
  • Assist with system certification, PMS and mobilisation / de-mobilisation activities
  • Provide technical and operational support to ROV Superintendent and Workshop Manager
  • Complete electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic work activities Carry out electrical and mechanical main lift terminations
  • Support operational ROV systems as required
  • Assist in the identification and ordering of suitable spare parts to ensure they are available when required Ensure ROV workshop critical spares and stock levels are maintained
  • Update and Maintain ROV system service records Complete job cards
  • Interface with other workshop disciplines as and when required
  • Responsible for own occupational safety/health, safety of fe llow employees and members of the public.
  • Ensure safe operations to avoid high impact on the environment
  • Maintain good housekeeping of the ROV workshop area
  • Assist in the implementation of departmental processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements
  • Implement and actively enforce compliance to work processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and the protection of the environment.

4. Hydraulic Technician

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters. 
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systems
  • Install new hydraulic systems and components
  • Monitor and maintain hydraulic fluid levels and quality, including filtration and fluid replacement.
  • Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies With minimal supervision.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to other members of the engineering team, as well as monitoring and Controlling the quality of the hydraulic systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine the root causes of problems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment manuals in the troubleshooting process. 
  • Maintain proper records of consumables usage and disposal to update Equipment Controllers 
  • Communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance & repair data with relevant personnel 
  • Complete related paperwork required to complete job (work order, parts order, etc) accurately and timely.
  • Ensure full compliance with the safety goals, objectives, and procedures towards achieving zero LTI.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager or Safety advisors in accordance with Company policies & procedures; 
  • Available during off-hours for rescheduling, technical assistance, and emergency response
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the foreman and above.

5. Crane Technician

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical / Equivalent 
  • Engineering Preferred 
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 2-3  years of experience in the related position
  • Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repair procedures.
  • Geographic Experience:
  • GCC experiences preferred
  • Valid Qatar driving license is advantage
  • Computer and Language Skills:
  • Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping and reporting as well as ERP systems
  • Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge:
  • Ability to read & interpret documents,blueprints, operating & maintenance manuals. 
  • Knowledge of cranes such as Crawler, Hydraulic Truck and all Terrain Crane.
