Job Description:
Little Academy Nursery in Doha is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the health and well-being of our children by maintaining detailed health records, coordinating medical care, and organizing health-related activities and events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Child Hygiene: Ensure high standards of hygiene for each child, including regular checks and maintenance of hair, nails, and ears.
* Immunization Records: Accurately document each child’s immunizations and stay updated on age-specific immunization schedules.
* Medication Administration: Maintain detailed records of administered medications, including obtaining parental consent, noting the medicine name, dosage, time of administration, and witness signatures.
* Monthly Doctor Visits: Organize and coordinate monthly visits by a doctor to the nursery.
* Parental Communication: Discuss health issues and treatment plans with parents, providing updates based on doctor’s recommendations.
* Health Records: Maintain comprehensive records of children with health conditions, food allergies, and drug allergies.
* Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention and necessary intervention to children in need.
* Allergy Board Maintenance: Keep the allergy board updated with current student allergy information.
* Health Education: Plan and execute health-related educational activities and events, such as visits from dentists and ambulance teams.
* Staff Training: Coordinate with QCHP to arrange yearly CPR and first aid training seminars for staff.
Requirements:
* License/Certification: QCHP license (Preferred)
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a pediatric or nursery setting
* CPR Training: Valid CPR certification
* Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to childcare.
