Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach to join our team in
Doha, Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rhythmic gymnastics, a commitment to
athlete development, and the ability to inspire and motivate young gymnasts. You will be
responsible for coaching athletes of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors,
and preparing them for local, regional, and national competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coaching & Training:
◦ Develop and implement training programs for athletes at various skill levels.
◦ Teach and demonstrate proper techniques for apparatus handling (hoop, ball,
clubs, ribbon, rope) and body movements.
◦ Monitor and evaluate athletes' progress, providing feedback and adjustments as
necessary.
• Competition Preparation:
◦ Choreograph routines for individual and group performances.
◦ Prepare athletes for competitions, including routine refinement, mental
preparation, and ensuring readiness for competitive environments.
◦ Accompany athletes to competitions, providing support and guidance.
• Athlete Development:
◦ Foster a positive and supportive training environment that encourages growth,
discipline, and sportsmanship.
◦ Mentor athletes on goal-setting, performance improvement, and injury prevention.
◦ Monitor athlete health and well-being, addressing any concerns with parents and
support staff.
• Administrative Duties:
◦ Maintain accurate records of athlete attendance, progress, and performance.
◦ Communicate regularly with parents regarding athlete development and upcoming
events.
◦ Assist with organizing and running in-house events, showcases, and competitions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in rhythmic gymnastics, either as a coach or high-level athlete.
• Strong understanding of the technical and artistic aspects of rhythmic gymnastics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire
athletes.
• Certification in gymnastics coaching (preferred but not required).
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
