1. Registered Dietitian I
To provide nutritional care to inpatients and outpatients through the process of assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring. To sustain a safe, effective, efficient, patient-centered service by using quality management principles. To assist and participate in the development of patient educational materials related to nutrition.
Job Responsibilities
- Applies clinical nutrition and medical nutrition therapy principles and models to client-centred care across the lifespan (*includes aetiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology elements)
- Uses evidence-based nutrition knowledge and dietetic expertise, reasoning, and judgement to optimise nutrition, health, and wellbeing.
- Assesses, plans, implements, monitors, evaluates, and adapts food service systems to meet patient and stakeholder needs.
- Analyses assessment data to identify nutrition diagnoses, prioritise problems and formulate goals in collaboration with patient.
- Develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and adapts client-centred nutrition care plans based on assessment data and clinical reasoning.
- Uses appropriate dietary assessment methods to assess food and nutrient intakes of patients.
- Assesses the patient’s nutritional status through interviews with the patient and/or significant others (including obtaining and evaluating diet history as appropriate), and review of medical record and laboratory values.
- Recommends, monitors, and evaluates Special Foods (oral, enteral, and parenteral products) and approved nutrition-related medicines to optimise nutritional status.

- Current, valid, home country license to practise Physiotherapy (Overseas candidates)/ Current, valid, license to practise Physiotherapy in Qatar.
- Expertise in the assessment of complex presentations as a PT and within and MDT setting.
- Expertise in the formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans.
- Hydrotherapy experience (desired).
- Evidence of appropriate continued professional development.
- Expertise in set up, delivery and after care of manual therapies, movement therapies, electrotherapy treatments.
- Proficiency in the administration of standardized outcome measure testing applicable to area of work.
- Knowledge of technological and robotic advances in patient treatment and evidence behind their use (desired)
- Expertise in the application of evidence based practice.
- Previous experience working in a multi -disciplinary care team

Provides nursing care in an effective and safe manner to a select group of patients and families, carries out established nursing regimes, and plans of nursing care under the guidance of a preceptor or other designated RN.The scope of responsibility, duties and accountability at the facility department and position levels including knowledge and practice of the clinical/technical skills necessary to the position consistent with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) Nursing/Midwifery Competency Framework and Scope of Practice. Nursing job duties are to meet the Joint Commission International and the Plan of Care Policy, and other regulatory requirements.
