1. Cisrs Instructor
Professional Qualifications, Skills, And Experience:
- At least Level 3 CISRS- OSTS Scaffolder.
- Relevant Professional Qualifications: TAQA Assessor or similar PTLLS or similar (Teaching and assessing qualifications).
- NEBOSH IGC/IOSH Managing Safely.
- Min 10 Years of extensive Scaffolding experience onshore/ offshore, mining, refineries, construction.
- Be able to pass the CISRS shadow process for OSTS Level 1,2 & 3 Supervisor, BSI, ASI.
- Be able to assess workplace safety via RAMS. Min. 05 years practical scaffolding experience.
- Min. 05 years supervisory or management experience in scaffolding.
- Hold a First Aid Qualification (Appointed person or local equivalent).
- Knowledge of Qatar and International safety Standards.
- Must have experience in the preparation of course materials, course outlines, lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, and written/practical assessments.
- Strong training presentation, coordination, evaluation, & planning skills.
- Must have experience in conducting classroom and practical training and assessment.
- Knowledge in preparing and reviewing of Documents related to QHSE. Excellent Communication in English (Preferred Equivalent to IELTS 5).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: word, excel, and PowerPoint.
- Professional attitude.
- Innovative and has a creative approach.
- A flexible, proactive, and dynamic teaching approach.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work in multi-cultural and multi-company environments.
2. Support Technician (Marine & Survival)
Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor the Technician I-Support will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day support of training course delivery and the maintenance, repairing, inspection, calibration, ensuring of certification and validity of equipment and to prepare reports assigned by the Lead Instructor. The Position also requires active participation in training and development program for other departments as well.
Key Accountabilities/Purpose
- Assist Lead Instructor and Instructors to deliver training by providing all needed support including setting up training venues whenever requested to comply with the Standard and Procedures and elevate the skills and knowledge of internal and external parties.
- Service equipment to the appropriate standards by following the Maintenance Procedure to keep the maintenance data up-to-date and improve the life span of Company Assets.
- Ensure all resources needed for training courses are maintained by following all applicable procedures and checklists to maintain a safe place for training. Assist Lead Instructor/Instructor as a delegate whenever they are short with minimum numbers by roleplaying as a delegate to comply with the standard & Procedure for the training courses.
- Invest a portion of 5% from total utilization every month for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) by spending time reading, attending professional training, Seminars, Conferences, etc. to ensure compliance with the Company's CPD provisions to upgrade and update CPD of its employees.
- Ensure competencies in self are met by identifying skills & competency gaps and undergoing/Providing appropriate training to be competent and comply with internal and external standards & procedures.
- Adhere to all QHSE policies, procedures and standards by performing required observations and near-miss reports to safeguard company employees and assets.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Lead Instructor and Business/Operations Manager
Experience/Skills
- Higher Secondary Education.
- IOSH Working Safely / ECITB Foundation or equivalent.
- Min. 01 years of experience in a similar role.
- Swimming Preferable.
- Diving Qualification (PADI open water Diver) Preferable.
- Crane Operation Preferable.
- Life Guard Preferable
