What the job involves
- Perform comprehensive commercial and financial due diligence, incorporating risk assessment in private equity transactions
- Apply advanced financial modelling to assess the investment opportunities and evaluate their viability
- Create reports to be included in the investment memos, presentations, and other materials pivotal to decision-making

Who we are looking for

Our client, a leading international investment manager, is looking for an Associate to join their real assets investment team. This role will be focused on fund investments across the entire real assets universe including infrastructure, natural resources and real estate.
What the job involves
- Supports in screening of new investments considering all relevant macro and industry trends in accordance with the department’s investment mandate
- Evaluates new investments which includes receiving and reviewing offers for participation in new investment opportunities
- Supports in evaluating and maintains relationships with GPs, advisors and industry contacts
- Evaluates the performance of existing investments and seeks to improve value through the consideration of strategic initiatives
- Benchmarks investment opportunities against relevant peers and comparable companies/precedent transactions
- Sound understanding of the infrastructure and natural resources asset classes, including the attributes affecting the risk/return profile of different investment opportunities and the main elements necessary to construct a well-diversified portfolio
Who we are looking for
- University Degree
- MBA or other advanced financial qualification desirable such as ACA, CFA
- Relevant work experience in a buy-side role doing fund investments, covering the unlisted real assets sector (such as infrastructure, natural resources or real estate)
- The ability to relocate full time to Doha, Qatar
