Required jobs in Gulf Helicopters company and their details:

1. Airworthiness Compliance Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all GHC Approved Maintenance Programs are up to date and complying with all OEM's and the competent authority requirements.
  • Ensure all GHC Approved Maintenance Program requirements are implemented in to the Company compliance system.
  • Ensure all the assessments of Technical Literature issued by Aircraft and Engine Manufacturers, Vendors and Airworthiness Authorities, are implemented accordingly to ensure Flight Safety and continued Airworthiness of Company aircraft.
  • Transpose all CAMO Airworthiness instructions to Part 145, in to the appropriate compliance form as required.
  • Punctually complete all Company MOR's and ASR's for engineering content and take the necessary action to prevent a re-occurrence. This function is to be carried out in conjunction with Director of QCM&HSE, CA Manager, Technical Services and Reliability Manager.
  • Punctually review the department audit reports, investigate the findings and recommend corrective action.
  • Identify and take necessary action with regard to defects likely to compromise Flight Safety.
  • Review requests for amendments to Company Technical Publications for validity and making recommendations to the QCM&HSE department (Quality Compliance Monitoring and Health Safety Environment) for amendment incorporation, as appropriate.
  • Support the ARC renewal and extension recommendation review.
  • Maintaining an accurate recording and filing system to ensure that any relevant information regarding past and present projects is readily identified for consideration in any new arising.
  • Liaison with third party customers on technical issues as and when required.
  • To carry out any other appropriate duties as detailed by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager or Technical Services and Reliability Manager.

2. Application System Analyst - AMOS

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop checks and controls to routinely validate that all ERP systems functionality including but not limited to Amos are fully utilized for all applicable/approved business processes.
  • Coordinate with end-user departments and mutually setup periodically scheduled ERP system’s
  • utilization check-up plans and generate ERP system specific utilization check-up reports, capturing observations and non-conformance and submit it to the designated reporting department.
  • To track and ensure timely closure of observations and/or non-conformance captured during such validation/inspection exercise by coordinating with the target end-user department.
  • Establishing productive working relationships with the end-user departments and acquire functional knowledge of various business disciplines to suggest and support business process
  • enhancements.
  • Work with the end-user department’s SME and/or key users to develop checklists necessary for conducting meaningful assessment of ERP system’s utilization for business processes.
  • Develop training plan and materials for training end-users that combines ERP system’s functionality with business processes and periodically (as needed) deliver instructor-led classroom and/or online training.
  • Work with the GHC’s training academy to plan and delivery ERP system trainings to both, existing refresher and to newly inducted staff as per their respective scheduled of other already planned regulatory trainings.
  • Work with the end-user department’s key users and SME and seek their feedback on departments functional aspects and the expectation from their staff to develop and evaluation training and training requirements for effective training delivery.
  • Development and feedback on ERP training materials (self-developed and/or ERP sourced) & management of learner assessments & attendance tracking.
  • Maintain successful training delivery satisfaction statistics to drive training program goals of optimum utilization of ERP systems.
  • Developing and maintaining power bi (and other related industry leading tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Qlik sense) high performance data visualizations, reports, dashboards and providing ad-hoc reporting.
  • Creating PL/SQL/PostgreSQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views and exceptions handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets.
  • Expertise in SQL databases, MySQL, PostgreSQL and strong ability to write SQL queries.
  • To complete additional responsibilities/task in a time bound manner as may be allocated from the relevant evolving business and/or operational requirements.

3. Assistant Technical Librarian

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Receive and log all Technical Publications, including revisions and enter the computerized ‘Publications receipt record’ and check that the correct number have been received.
  • Distribute technical publication hard and soft copies to different locations and maintain records of incorporation.
  • Place orders for new publications and manuals as required. Renew of publication subscriptions.
  • Maintain and update of all technical publications held by Gulf Helicopters Technical Library.
  • Record keeping of all incoming/outgoing publications on daily basis.
  • Check all relevant websites for daily publication of AD’s, ASB’s, OSN’s, SB’s, IL’s SPB’s & BT’s from the OEM’s and aircraft manufacturers.
  • Transmit publications for official circulation and ensuring of notification of receipt.
  • Upload manuals onto the GHC MOSS as and when revisions occur (AMP’s, MM, RFM etc.).
  • Maintain a register of all loaned publications.
  • Keep a register of all issued Aircraft Technical Records supplies and order when required.
  • Prepare Technical manual laptops for outstations and short-term deployments.
  • Technical Library System updates on GHC user computers for AW139/AW189 IETPs, GE updates, S92 IETM, Arriel 2C2, PWC & GBS.
  • Assist the Technical Librarian in the general upkeep of the technical library.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Technical Librarian or Continuing Airworthiness Manager.

4. Assistant Technical Records Controller

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Meet with deadline-intensive environment & ensuring the accuracy and on time completion of all tasks.
  • Maintain documentation for all GHC Aircrafts and updating their component cards as nominated by the Tech Records Controller.
  • Liaise with Qatar Civil Aviation – QCAA surveyor for initial Certificates of Airworthiness & renewal of Airworthiness Renewal Certificate.
  • Preparation of documentation for CMR audits and coordinating with Pilot & Engineers for closing of the audit findings.
  • Preparation of historical documentation for components being shipped for repair.
  • Completing of new Aircraft and its Components configuration in the system.
  • Generate reports from Technical Records Data.
  • Reporting of GHC Operating System to IT/AMOS.
  • Amending the GHC Operating System as per latest AMP.
  • Issuing of Maint. Statements on completion of Scheduled Maintenance Inspections thus assisting the management with an important decision-making tool or planning.
  • Monitoring maintenance activity, component replacements and GHC Operating System Technical Log entry for out station aircraft.
  • Log entries electronically onto GHC Operating System on daily basis.
  • Assume the responsibilities of Tech Records Controller and other co-workers in their absence.
  • Providing the data required and co-ordinate with the management for the Quarterly Board Meeting Report.
  • Reviewing documentation dispatched from all operations in regard to removed components against the master record.
  • Filing of Engineering w/sheets, Technical log sheets, Components work order for easy retrieval.
  • Cooperating with the investigation team at the time of incident or accident  and providing the data required from the Technical Records Dept.
  • Replying to queries raised by procurement, commercial, finance, operation and other departments.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager or the Technical Records Controller.

5. AW139/AW189 - Co-Pilot

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications and Experience:

  • ICAO ATPL or CPL/IR with ATPL theory
  • Must have AW139/AW189 rating and 50 hours P1 on type.
  • 500 total flight hours
  • 500 total Multi Engine
  • 5 hours Night (if they have an ATPL we can assume this)
  • Must hold a valid Class 1
  • ELP4 or higher
