URGENT REQUIREMENT

CHEF INCHARGE

PLAZA DINE RESTAURANT is one of the fine dining restaurants located in the heart of Doha City. We are looking for a well experienced HEAD CHEF for immediate posting.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management OR Prior Experience in 4- or 5-Star HOTELS with food costing experience.

Job Description:

  • ·       Must be knowledgeable and skilled in Multi Cuisine.
  • ·       Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • ·       Estimating food requirements and food cost/labor costs
  • ·       Modifying menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  • ·       Skilled in menu development, Menu costing, and menu engineering.
  • ·       Works with vendors to ensure proper performance and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • ·       Oversees inventory, availability, FCR and other food related KPIs.
  • ·       Give prepared plates the “final touch”
  • ·       Comply with Quality, nutrition, sanitation regulations and Food safety standards
  • ·       Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • ·       Teaches preparation according to well defined recipes and follows up and discusses ways of constantly improving the cuisine at the property.
  • ·       Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and kitchen staff.
  • Provides and supports service behaviors that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Monthly salary of QAR 3000 to 3500 + Accommodation + Transport + Duty meal + Annual Benefits as per Qatar Labour Rule
