URGENT REQUIREMENT
HEAD CHEF
PLAZA DINE RESTAURANT is one of the fine dining restaurants located in the heart of Doha City. The restaurant is managed by OYYO PLAZA HOTEL. We are looking for a well experienced HEAD CHEF for immediate posting.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Degree/Diploma in Culinary Science, Hotel Management OR Prior Experience in 4- or 5-Star HOTELS
Job Description:
· Must be knowledgeable and skilled in Multi Cuisine.
· Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
· Estimating food requirements and food cost/labor costs
· Modifying menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
· Skilled in menu development, Menu costing, and menu engineering.
· Works with vendors to ensure proper performance and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
· Oversees inventory, availability, FCR and other food related KPIs.
· Give prepared plates the “final touch”
· Comply with Quality, nutrition, sanitation regulations and Food safety standards
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
· Teaches preparation according to well defined recipes and follows up and discusses ways of constantly improving the cuisine at the property.
· Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and kitchen staff.
Provides and supports service behaviors that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Monthly salary of QAR 2800 to 3500 + Accommodation + Transport + One-time duty meal, Annual Benefits as per Qatar Labour Rule
