Training Officer
Job Summary:
The incumbent has the primary responsibility of facilitating competence development through conducting needs assessments against job competency models, gauging skills gaps, and supporting the process of addressing these gaps for employees within the technical disciplines. The role may involve designing, delivering, and following through on training interventions. The Training Officer will play a critical role in developing national university graduates to become independent role holders within their designated disciplines. The role holder will collaborate with educational institutions to track students’ progress and provide counseling when necessary.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the business to facilitate the competency assessments process for corporate disciplines.
- Assist line management in identifying training needs in accordance with competency gaps to implement fit-for-purpose learning interventions.
- Design, establish, follow up on, and evaluate training programs to develop Nationals into permanent positions.
- Prepare and deliver orientation and training sessions as per business requirements.
- Facilitate rotational assignments for new joiners to enable them to understand organizational processes and the value chain.
- Prepare periodic progress reports to keep line management and HR informed on the progress and performance of Graduates within the areas of responsibility.
- Evaluate, recommend, and initiate the placement of Graduates into positions of responsibility following their development.
- Maintain competency and training records, update systems, and ensure that records are up to date.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Certified Trainer.
- Certified Workplace Assessor and Internal Verifier (advantageous).
- Minimum of 5 years of direct and relevant experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

لمسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- التعاون مع الأعمال لتسهيل عملية تقييم الكفاءة للتخصصات المؤسسية.
- مساعدة الإدارة في تحديد احتياجات التدريب وفقًا لفجوات الكفاءة لتنفيذ تدخلات تعليمية مناسبة.
- تصميم وإنشاء ومتابعة وتقييم البرامج التدريبية لتطوير المواطنين إلى مناصب دائمة.
- إعداد وتقديم جلسات التوجيه والتدريب وفقًا لمتطلبات العمل.
- تسهيل التعيينات الدورية للموظفين الجدد لتمكينهم من فهم العمليات التنظيمية وسلسلة القيمة.
- إعداد تقارير دورية عن التقدم لإبقاء الإدارة والموارد البشرية على علم بتقدم وأداء الخريجين ضمن مجالات المسؤولية.
- تقييم وتوصية وبدء عملية توظيف الخريجين في مناصب مسؤولية بعد تطويرهم.
- الحفاظ على سجلات الكفاءة والتدريب، وتحديث الأنظمة، وضمان تحديث السجلات.
الملف الشخصي للمرشح المطلوب:
- درجة البكالوريوس من جامعة معترف بها.
- مدرب معتمد.
- مُقيّم عمل داخلي ومحقق داخلي (يفضل).
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في المجال ذي الصلة، ويفضل أن تكون في صناعة النفط والغاز أو البتروكيماويات أو الصناعة الثقيلة.
- مهارات تنظيمية وشخصية قوية، مع مستوى جيد من الإلمام بالحاسوب وإجادة استخدام برامج Microsoft Office.
