We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
About the Job:
- Perform analyses, design, and review of engineering drawings.
- Experience in both brownfield and greenfield engineering.
- Design of fixed offshore platforms, including jackets, topsides, and decks.
- Extensive experience with in-place fatigue analysis (deterministic and spectral).
- Involvement in transportation, lift, stability, pile drivability, sea-fastenings, pushover analysis, and ship impact analysis.
- Design of pipe supports, equipment supports, risers, J-tubes, caissons, and more.
- Manage miscellaneous brownfield designs and offshore equipment changes.
- Participate in the design of new structures and replacements (boat landings, protector structures, etc.).
- Conduct site surveys and produce detailed reports.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing offshore structures/platforms.
- Ability to lead a small team of junior engineers and designers.
- Expertise in SACS software.
- Familiarity with international standards like API RP 2A, AISC, DNV.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Nice to Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Offshore or Ocean Engineering.
- Experience with Navis Works, GRLWEAP, SACS, ANSYS, ABAQUS, MOSES, USFOS.
- Experience in the design of floating offshore structures and exposure to yard engineering.
- Familiarity with EPIC projects and FEA packages.

المهام الوظيفية:

- خبرة واسعة في تحليل الإجهاد والتحليل الطيفي للتعب الهيكلي.
- المشاركة في نقل ورفع المعدات، استقرار المنصات، قابلية قيادة الركائز البحرية، والتصميمات المختلفة المتعلقة بالأمان البحري.
- تصميم دعامات الأنابيب، دعامات المعدات، أنابيب الصعود، وJ-tubes.
- إدارة تصميم الهياكل البنية التحتية المختلفة والتعديلات على المعدات البحرية.
- المساهمة في تصميم هياكل جديدة واستبدال الهياكل القديمة.
- إجراء مسوحات ميدانية وإعداد تقارير مفصلة.
عن المرشح المطلوب:
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو الهندسة الإنشائية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في تصميم الهياكل والمنصات البحرية.
- القدرة على قيادة فريق صغير من المهندسين والمصممين المبتدئين.
- خبرة في استخدام برنامج SACS.
- معرفة بالمعايير الدولية مثل API RP 2A وAISC وDNV.
- مهارات تواصل ممتازة (كتابة وتحدثًا).
ميزات إضافية مرغوبة:
- درجة الماجستير في الهندسة البحرية أو هندسة المحيطات.
- خبرة في استخدام برامج Navis Works وGRLWEAP وSACS وANSYS وABAQUS وMOSES وUSFOS.
- خبرة في تصميم الهياكل البحرية العائمة.
- معرفة بمشاريع EPIC والهندسة التصنيعية.
