1. Computer Science and ICT Teacher
Job overview
This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a talented and qualified ICT & Business Studies Teacher to join our school. You must have recent experience working as a English Teacher in a UK curriculum school internationally or within the UK.
The role is due to start from in August 2025. Candidates must be available from the 17th of August 2025 to commence employment.
United School International is the first and probably only school to be built on the Pearl, providing education for children within the local community. Because of its position, its beautiful architecture and facilities, The Pearl is one of the most desirable locations for both expatriate and local Qatar families in the city.
The school has a number of state-of-the-art facilities to support exceptional teaching including the latest touch screen technology, technology labs, art facilities and easy access to carefully landscaped indoor and outdoor play areas. Additional facilities at the school include a 450 seater auditorium/theatre, STEAM & robotics room, swimming pool, training pool, badminton, volleyball, tennis, basketball courts and a full size football pitch.
Applicants should be committed and outstanding teaching practitioners, able to lead in the classroom by example.
The candidate must:
- Have a relevant bachelor's degree from a reputable university and qualified Teacher status, either PGCE or B.Ed from the UK
- Have previous teaching experience in a UK curriculum school teaching English.
- Have a passion for education, able to communicate clearly with good collaborative team working skills.
2. Primary PE Teacher
The candidate must:
- Have a relevant Bachelor degree from a reputable university and qualified Teacher status, either PGCE or B.Ed from the UK
- Have previous teaching experience in a UK curriculum school teaching PE.
- Have a passion for education, able to communicate clearly with good collaborative team working skills.
- Has experience teaching EYFS to Year 6, with the flexibility to teach Key Stage 3.
- Is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality PE lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
- Is keen to contribute to the co-curricular sports programme, leading activities and teams.
- Can work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
