MEP QA/QC Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement QA/QC plans, inspection checklists, and method statements for MEP works.
Perform daily site inspections and monitor the quality of MEP installations.
Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, IPC).
Coordinate and supervise testing, commissioning, and third-party inspections for HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection, and plumbing.
Maintain and update inspection records, test reports, and material approval logs (e.g., MIRs, WIRs).
Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports); ensure timely corrective actions.
Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
Assist in handover documentation, including O&M manuals, test reports, and as-built drawings.
Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors for inspection approvals and quality audits.
Participate in internal QA audits and prepare reports for senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP QA/QC roles in construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Familiar with QA/QC standards, ISO 9001, and local/international codes (e.g., NFPA, ASME, IEC).
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC reporting software.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
