Required jobs in Steadfast Trading and Contracting Company and their details:
1. mechanical Design engineer
Requirements:
- 5+ GCC Relevant education or experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software with a focus on Mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, codes, and standards.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and collaboration tools.
2. MEP Draughtsman
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in plumbing and piping drafting within the MEP or construction industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, and working knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Good understanding of MEP systems, especially water supply, drainage, and fire protection piping.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and local authority requirements (Ashghal, Kahramaa, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
3. PLC SCADA
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC/SCADA engineering within the oil & gas sector.
- Proficiency in at least one major SCADA platform (e.g., Wonderware, GE iFIX, WinCC, Ignition).
- Hands-on experience with PLCs such as Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), Siemens (S7, TIA Portal), or Schneider (Modicon).
- Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, hazardous area classifications, and process safety systems.
- Familiarity with API, IEC, ISA, and IEC 61508/61511 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in remote or offshore environments, if required.
4. Quantity Surveyor
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Consultancy experience is mandatory
- Candidates must be available for immediate joining
5. HVAC Engineer
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in design and consultancy firms (GCC experience preferred)
- UPDA/MMUP certified or eligible (mandatory for engineering positions)
- Proficient in relevant design software and technical codes
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable visa
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
