QA/QC Engineer – Architecture
The QA/QC Engineer - Architecture is responsible for ensuring that architectural works at site comply with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role includes inspection, documentation, and coordination with design and site execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
Inspect on-site architectural work to ensure conformity with approved materials and methods.
Monitor and verify workmanship of architectural finishes, cladding, ceilings, partitions, joinery, etc.
Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for architectural works.
Conduct internal and external audits on construction processes and material compliance.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors for inspections and approvals.
Review and approve method statements and material submittals.
Ensure all QA/QC documentation is properly maintained and up-to-date.
Support project handover and commissioning by preparing necessary QA/QC records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in QA/QC roles, with a strong architectural background.
Knowledge of local and international codes and standards (QCS, BS, ASTM, etc.).
Familiar with QA/QC documentation, audits, and ISO standards.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
